FAQ
Is the zoom optical?
Your iPhone’s own lenses provide the optical steps (1x, 2x or 5x depending on the model). Everything beyond that is digital: the App crops the sensor image and applies detail enhancement. The HUD labels each range as OPTICAL, DIGITAL or SUPER ZOOM. Maximum magnification and sharpness depend on your device.
Are the thermal and night filters real sensors?
No. They are colour filters applied to the normal camera image for contrast. The App cannot detect heat or see in the dark.
Why does it need my location?
To show coordinates, altitude and heading in the HUD and stamp them onto your photos. Location is processed on your iPhone only and is never uploaded.
Where are my photos stored?
In the App’s own archive on your iPhone. You can save any photo to the Photos app, share it, or delete it. Deleting the App deletes the archive, so save what you want to keep first.
Do shared photos contain my location?
Yes, by default: the GPS stamp is burned into the image and the coordinates are also written into the photo’s metadata (EXIF). Turn on “Strip GPS metadata when sharing” in Controls (•••) to share a copy without metadata. The visible stamp can be turned off before shooting with the GPS Stamp toggle.
How do I remove ads?
Controls (•••) → Remove Ads. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
How do I restore the purchase on a new iPhone?
Controls (•••) → Restore Purchase, signed in with the same Apple Account.
How do I change my ad privacy choices?
Controls (•••) → Ad Privacy Choices (shown where consent applies). Tracking permission can be changed in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
