Privacy Policy — New Lines

Effective date: September 11, 2026

New Lines (“the App”), listed on the App Store as “New Lines 22”, is developed by Tigran Barseghyan (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the App handles and how. The short version: the App has no accounts and asks for no personal details. It is free and supported by ads, and the advertising service does collect device information to show and measure them; that is described in section 2. Where the iPhone and Android versions differ, the difference is called out.

1. No account, no personal details

There is no sign-up, login, password, email field or profile. We never ask for your name, address, phone number or date of birth, and we have no database in which such a record could exist.

2. Advertising

The App shows ads served by Google AdMob: a banner beneath the board, an occasional full-screen ad between levels, and a rewarded video that you choose to watch in exchange for coins. Buying Remove Ads turns all three off; no ad of any kind is requested after that.

To serve and measure ads, the AdMob SDK collects device and usage information, not identity: your device’s advertising identifier (the IDFA on iPhone, the Advertising ID on Android), IP address — from which Google derives a coarse location, such as your country or city — device model and operating system version, and how you interact with the ads shown (impressions, taps, and whether a rewarded video was completed). Google may use this to personalise the ads you see, subject to the choices below. Google’s handling is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Your choices.

The consent you give on the form is stored on your device by the SDK. Uninstalling the App clears it, and the form is shown again on the next install where it is required.

3. Analytics and crash reporting

On iPhone, the App uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the game is played — which screens are opened, whether levels are completed, whether a purchase or an ad load succeeded — and Firebase Crashlytics to receive a report when the App crashes.

What this collects is usage and device information: an app-instance identifier generated by Firebase, device model, operating system version, coarse region, the in-app events listed above, and for a crash, the state of the App at the moment it failed. It does not include your name, email, contacts, photos or precise location. We use it only to improve the App, and we do not sell it or share it for advertising. Deleting the App resets the app-instance identifier and ends the collection.

On Android, the App currently sends no analytics and no crash reports. The same events are recorded only in the device’s local debugging log, which does not leave the device.

4. Purchases

The App offers one-time purchases only: coin packs, and Remove Ads. There are no subscriptions.

Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google through your App Store or Google Play account. We never receive or store your name, card details, billing address, Apple ID or Google account. What the App receives from the store is a confirmation that a purchase completed and which product it was, so it can add the coins or turn off the ads. Apple’s and Google’s handling of purchase data is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy.

5. Progress sync (iPhone only)

On iPhone, your level progress, star ratings and coin balance are also stored in iCloud Key-Value Storage, so they follow you to other devices signed in to the same Apple Account. This data is held in your own iCloud account under Apple’s terms; we do not have access to it, and there is no server of ours involved. Turning off iCloud Drive for the App in iOS Settings stops the sync.

On Android, progress is stored on the device only and is not synced anywhere.

6. Notifications (iPhone only)

If you leave a level unfinished, the App may schedule one local reminder, delivered two days later, to come back to it. This is created by the App on your device — there is no push service and nothing is sent to us. iOS asks for permission before any reminder can be shown, and you can withdraw it at any time in Settings → Notifications. The Android version sends no notifications.

7. Data stored on your device

The App stores on your device only: which levels you have completed and their ratings, your coin balance, whether Remove Ads has been bought, your sound and music volume, whether the tutorial and first-time hints have been shown, and your advertising consent choice. None of this identifies you, and all of it is removed when you delete the App (on iPhone, a copy of the progress and coins remains in your iCloud account, as described in section 5).

8. Sharing and rating

The Share button hands a short message and a link to the App’s store page to whichever app you choose — Messages, Mail, and so on. The Rate Us button opens the App Store or Google Play. Nothing is sent to us in either case.

9. What we do not do

10. Children

The App is rated 4+ / Everyone and contains no content unsuitable for children, but it is not directed at children under 13, and its advertising is not configured for an audience of children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone. If you are a parent and believe a child has used the App in a way that concerns you, contact us and we will help.

11. Your rights

We hold no personal data about you, so there is no account to access, correct, export or delete. Everything the App keeps is on your device (and, on iPhone, in your own iCloud account) and is removed by deleting the App. You can reset or delete your advertising identifier in your device’s settings at any time, and purchases remain tied to your Apple Account or Google account and can be restored.

12. Changes to this policy

If the App’s data practices change — for example, if analytics are added to the Android version — we will update this policy and the effective date above before the change takes effect.
