Does it show the exact satellites my phone is locked onto? No. iOS doesn’t expose the receiver’s raw satellite data. Your position and fix accuracy are real (Core Location); the satellites shown are calculated from public orbital data (TLE/SGP4) to be above your horizon.
Why does it need my location? To place satellites on the radar relative to you and compute which are overhead. Your location is never stored or shared.
How do I manage or cancel Pro? On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → GPS Test Satellite Tracker.
How do I restore a purchase? Open the app → subscription screen → “Restore Purchases”.
